Binocular concept for the Almond Challenge
Almond design school created a challenge to kick off the launch of their school. The brief was to design something that could be seen through. I did a bunch of ideation on what that could be, before settling on a binocular.
The principle was super simple. Add three cylinders and an elastic band. sort of how you would create a kid DIY binocular out of toilet rolls and a rubber band when you were a kid. That would make the design iconic - and feel like you already would know how to use it.
The front buttons would work as on off, and zoom in and out.
